FIAT Campagnola / 1974
I’m sharing with you one of my favorite cars from my private collection, this FIAT Campagnola 4×4 Type 1107 (early production) One of the first 1000 examples produced, equipped with a 2.0 liter petrol engine. Comes from the first owner who bought it new in 1974 in Brescia, Italy. It is still in beautiful, original condition. The body is rust free and still has the original paint. The interior is completely original and offers space for 7 people. Recently fitted with a new canvas roof and off-road tires for an authentic look. A well-preserved example with only 28500 km on the counter.
History: The Fiat Campagnola (1974-1987) is an iconic 4×4 off-road vehicle, built for both military and civilian use. Introduced in 1974 as the Nuova Campagnola, it featured major improvements like a 2.0-liter petrol or 2.5-liter diesel engine, and an independent front suspension, offering better comfort on rough terrain.
With its four-wheel drive system and rugged design, the Campagnola was highly valued for expeditions, rescue missions, and farming. It even gained fame when a special version was used by Pope John Paul II during his 1980 Africa visit. Production ended in 1987, but the Campagnola remains a beloved classic among collectors for its durability and timeless design.
