Vespa 125 VM2 + Sidecar / 1954
On October 29, 1953 at 11:30, Vespa number 500,000 rolled off the assembly line in Pontedera. In less than seven years, Vespa had reached its first half million units and this time it broke the record with a speed of 125 meters. The event was celebrated in the presence of employees and all Piaggio executives, as well as local authorities and foreign representatives.
